Instead of taking the standard diet route in order to achieve weight loss, why not try natural fat burning foods? That’s right—some foods can actually encourage the body to get rid of excess fat. Natural fat burning foods are generally high in protein, which is where the metabolism-boosting quality comes into play. As it takes more energy for the body to break down protein-rich foods, the body ends up pulling energy from the excess fat stores which in turn causes weight loss! Citrus Fruits

Citrus fruits, particularly those high in vitamin C, are great natural fat burning foods. Vitamin C actually aids the body in breaking down fat cells. Dairy Products

Some dairy products are also high in vitamin C. High-Protein Foods

As we mentioned earlier, foods that are high in protein take much more energy for the body to process into energy. But with protein, the amount of energy required to break it down is greater than that which the body actually receives in return.

Lean meat, such as chicken, eggs, turkey, and lean cuts of beef, as well as fish such as tuna and salmon are excellent sources of protein. All of the foods mentioned above are readily available in most supermarkets. In fact, most of them are foods that we already consume on a regular or semi-regular basis.
